Review: Sigma Brushes

Hey guys, I had a request from my Youtube account on Sigma Brushes (USA)
And, it was specifically requested that it should be reviewed in detail so here it goes, one by one....
starting with: the Sigma Pencil Brush SS219

(Left: Sigma SS219) (Right: MAC 219)
BACKGROUND: Sigma Brushes are a new developing company, which provides "quality" brushes, offering brushes with a variety of bristles as well as Brush holders and such. Sigma is a USA company which, as the numerals after the "SS" says, they are a sort of a dupe for the Mac Brushes, and only, sort of. They arnt exactely the same as Mac, as much as they attempt for it to be, appearance wise.
As this brush says, its a dupe of the MAC 219, as far as a 'dupe' for any infamous MAC brush goes, this is a very good copy of it, pretty successful too.
The handle: A wooden black handle with "Sigma USA" as well as the number printed on it, it looks more ghetto than the MAC numbers, but the handle, i guess is better than the MAC as the handle is slightly fatter, more wide and longer, it allows more control of where your brush goes on your eye. Although the downside to this is that you cant fit it into your Makeup purse very good..ly?
As in the picture, the bristles are exactely the same, i would say that the sigma brush is slightly less dense and a tad longer, but all in all, they work magic, exactely the same as the MAC 219.
The quality of this brush overall is exemplar and as far as washing it and taking care of its bristles, very easy, and the plus side, IT DOESNT SHED...holy moley since when do we get non MAC brushes that dont shed?
So, that was all i have to say about this particular Sigma Brush, although not all theyre brushes are as good a quality as this particular pencil SS219 brush.

WHAT IS A PENCIL BRUSH?
no, its not a smudger pencil....no.
If there was a company that came out with a brush with a rubber/sponge smudger...you would be either nuts, or totally out of it, to purchase it.
A pencil brush, is basically a dense small round tapered brush that allows you to either define your crease, fake a crease, draw your crease, smudge your eyeliner, apply e/s on hard to reach places and other little things you might find hard to get to =D

Tutorial: Smokey Red Look

Hey guys, so today's look...Smokey Red Look!
hope you guys enjoy it...

LINK to YOUTUBE Tutorial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LyoGtFHw6o

Products:
EYES-
-> Wales 40 color palette (number 364)

Wales 40 color palette: #364 (Orange with Red undertones, as base and focal point of eye)

-> 120 color palette (Matte Dark brown, Black Shimmer, and Matte White)

Matte dark brown as base, Matte white as highlight, Shimmer black as crease color

AND ..thats all the colours for the eyes,
-> Nars Eyeliner in Black Moon
-> Lash Blast Mascara in Black (waterproof)

The OUTCOME.........

OUTCOME..s =D

NOTE: for the cheeks and lippies, i would suggest, a bronzer..something that has more of a brown undertone, rather than a pink blush..because you already have the different gradients of red on your eyes,
as for your lips, i think a similar color to your eyes would be nice, not to bright of a red, because you want your eyes to be the part of your face that stands out =]

Love ya'll~!

SPOT Cleaning Brushes

Spot cleaning your makeup brushes.
It is very important to clean your brushes after you have used them 2 or 3 times.
Cleaning your brushes helps the bristles of the brush...or its 'hair', stay very shiny, clean (without yucky bacteria), and soft.

IF you decide not to clean them, they wont last as long as their potential will allow them, and they wont feel very good, nor be clean...you may even get bacteria in your eye, which at the end causes eye infections.....*i really hope i grossed you out and persuaded you to start cleaning them =D*

The "better" options of the products you can use:

-MAC Brush Cleanser *very nice...doesnt smell very bad*
-Napolean Perdis...this is a cheaper version of the MAC brush cleanser, only it stinks alot more, therefore you MUST be in a well ventilated area =D

DIRECTIONS:

-Grab a clean towel.. and lightly spray a small area on it with the brush cleanser....
-On another area, with the dirty brush, wipe off excess grime onto the towel, make sure you do this, so as not to waste too much product trying to clean and making it easier to eventually clean with the product *if that made sense*

-Lightly spray the bristles/hair once, and let it sink into the brush for a few seconds...

-Hold the brush vertical to the towel, and in a back and forth motion, wipe the bristles onto towel...you should see all the grime that was inside the brush, and eventually the brush will turn back to its original color =D

-Let the brush dry, and repeat of necessary

NOTE: once you spot cleaned your brushes, leave them to stand for a night, because the chemicals are dangerous for your skin and will irritate it....

Hope this helped guys,
